Guar-

Harvesting of Guar crop in major growing belt ( Punjab,Haryana,Rajasthan & Gujarat) is almost done. A low production expectation has been there from poor rains the growing areas in Rajasthan and Haryana received this year.
Market arrivals have been increased by about 300 tonnes while a minor increase in the prices were noticed.

Harvesting and post harvest activities continue smoothly in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka,Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.

Crop damage has been reported in rain-hit district of Aurangabad(Maharashtra).Standing crop is said to have more stagnated water.

Normal day time temperature will be conducive for the maize crop which is in germination and establishment Stages.

The arrivals in the mandi's have increased by 2000 tonnes. The prices have also shown a slight increase.

Corn harvest continue smoothly in the mid western belt. Corn harvest is reported to be 72% complete.


Argentina

Seeding of corn has been delayed in the eastern part of the country due to heavy rainfall.

Corn in Argentina is sown in Mid-November.



Cotton

India

Slightly higher temperature during day time and low temperature during night with sunshine have facilitated maturity and opening of late formed bolls that facilitate harvesting and post harvest activities in the northern states of Punjab,Rajasthan and Gujrat. It may be even helpful for increased production.

Cotton exports of India are anticipated to increase by about 57 per cent, which comes to almost 5.5 million bales.

The arrivals of cotton have increased by 10,000 tonnes. The prices in the mandi's have decreased by Rs 200 per Quintal.

Reduction in area is noticed in the district of Jhunjhunu(Rajasthan) due to poor rainfall.However normal sowing is reported from the district of Ganganagar(Rajasthan).
As per the government source,the arrival of chana in the mandi decreased by 73 tonnes. Increase in price by Rs 415 per quintal on 23rd November was noticed in the mandi's.
