Mung
Rainfall is forecasted in the major mung producing districts of Maharashtra. Mung arrivals are continued in bulk in Maharashtra. However the farmers move to the sowing of chana and wheat.
Dry weather and mild temperature is prevailing in most districts of Rajasthan. Heavy arrivals will remains same upto 10-15 days. The crop arrivals are good from previous year but excess rainfall in Rajasthan adversely affected the crop than expected.
The total arrivals of groundnut have increased by 100 quintals whereas the prices have decreased by Rs 200/quintal in last two days.

Soybean
The mild weather is prevailing in major soybean producing states Madhya Pradesh, Maharasthra and Rajasthan. However it is expected that some parts of Coastal Maharashtra may get light rains.
However in Rajasthan bulk arrivals will start after 10-15 days.
The total arrival of soybean has decreased by 2000 quintals whereas the prices shows a slight decrease in last two days.

Groundnut
The moderate rainfall is prevailing in major parts of south Gujarat. The groundnut arrivals have started in Gujarat .The Saurashtra Oil Millers Association (SOMA) has put an estimated production figure of 20 lakh tonnes this time -- a 100 per cent increase from the previous year. Small arrivals have been started in Tamil Nadu.

Sugarcane North
The dry weather is prevailing in the major sugarcane producing state as Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Bihar. Harvesting of the crop is started. However, the sugar percentage in sugarcane is less due to high quantity of water in the crop which consequently effects the prices of the crop. The sugar mills have decided to buy at low prices.
The sugarcane department had estimated loss of almost 6 percent to the standing sugarcane crop due to flood in some districts.
In Bihar, the moisture is very helpful for the late sown February-March crop however the harvesting will start at the end of October for the early sown crop.

Chilli
The widespread rainfall in the major chilli producing states Tamil Nadu and Kerala will be beneficial for the growth of the transplanted chili crop. Soybean
Most of the soybean varieties will flower and mature to quickly grown under condition where day length is less then 14 hours provided that temperature is also favorable. Therefore, in India soybean can be planted from 3rd week of June to first fortnight of July. However, maximum yield was achieved when planting of soybean was made in the last week of June.
The suitable temperature for soybean is 15 -22 C at emergence, 22-25 C at flowering and 15-22 C at maturity. Its seed yield increased as temperature increased between 18/12 (Day/night) ans 26/20 C. Rising temperature from 29/20 to 34/20 C during seed filling stage may decrease soybean yield. The crop is in flowering and seed development stages.
