Cashew

Cashew is sun loving can tolerate 36 C for a shorter period ,favourable temperature is 24-28 C . It is a tropical crop and requires warm and moist climate .The rainfall requirement is below 700 mm. Temperature should not go below 20 C for long period best adopted to coastal regions. Flowering requires less rain and dry period.
