Tea
Kerala
In the major tea producing districts [Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Thrissur, Idukki, Kottayam, Kollam, Wayanad, Thiruvanthapuram] the rainfall(cumulative),temperature and RH in the last ten days were 54.4-214.2 mm,19.8-30.8 C and 88.1-95 %. The widespread rainfall and humid hot condition are favourable for the growth of buds and the leaves. The production from fall harvest which is continued from September to late October at seven to ten days interval.
Tamil Nadu
In the major tea producing districts [Coimbatore, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Nilgiri] the rainfall(cumulative),temperature and RH in the last ten days were 15.0-143.2 mm,19.3-33.7 C and 75.2-90.5 %.Weather conditions are favorable for the growth and development of the leaves.
Assam
In the major tea producing districts [Darrang, lakhimpur, Karbianglong, Goalpara, North Cachars hills, Dibrugara, Cachar, Naraon] the rainfall(cumulative),temperature and RH in the last ten days were 58.3-322.6 mm,23.6-31.1 C and 87.5-92.8 %. The continuation of rainfall and humid,hot condition are favourable for the growth of buds and leaves which are picked after seven to ten days interval.
Karnataka
In the major tea producing districts [Hassan, Chikmagalur, Medikeri] the rainfall(cumulative),temperature and RH in the last ten days were 100.5-210.1 mm,19.3-26.1 C and 88.8-94.6 %. The continuation of rainfall humid ,hot condition and forecasted rainfall will boost the growth of the crop which is very much congenial for the harvest of leaves and buds.
Himachal Pradesh
In the major tea producing districts [Mandi, Kangra, Chamba] the rainfall(cumulative),temperature and RH in the last ten days were 162.0-297.4 mm,18.8-26.9 C and 81.6-89.4 %.The widespread and continued rainfall and mild weather conditions will favour good growth of leaves and buds. The forecasted weather will also benefit the growth of the bushes for periodical harvest.

Madhya Pradesh
In the major soyabean producing districts [Shivpuri, Guna, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Ujjain, Indore, Dewas, Shajapur, Harda, Khandwa, Seoni, Hosangabad, Sehore, Raisen] the rainfall(cumulative),temperature and RH in the last ten days were 24.6-209.2 mm,21.5-32 C and 78.4-94.3 %. The crop is in flowering ,pollination and seed development stage. Rainfall and Overcasted conditions and forecasted rainfall may interfere the above activities. Excess rainwater should be drained out invariably.

Andhara Pradesh
