Kharif Onion
Kharif onion crop requires 10-11 hr. sunshine and 15-21 C for vegetative growth.
Maharastra
Among the districts(Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune and Satara) at present , the cumulative rainfall, temperature and rh is varying between 56-212 mm ,21-28 C and 90-92 %. The continuation of mild temperature , high humidity and rainfall is congenial for the growth of transplanted onion . Even weather is very suitable for late transplanting.
Excess rain water should be drained out from the transplanted onion plot.
Gujarat
Among the districts Ghandhinagar, Narmada, Bhavnagar, Junagarh, Rajkot and Jamnagar the rainfall,temperature and RH received was 47-151 mm ,24-31 C and 89-92 %. The weather condition are conducive for the growth of the transplanted crop and also suitable for late transplanting if crop is not transplanted .

Karnataka
Among the districts (Dharwar, Bagalkot, Bijapur and Kolar) the cumulative rain ,temperature and rh is varying between 30-105 mm ,22-27 C and 81-94% . The weather conditions are congenial for the growth and development of the bulb of early transplanted crop.
Tamil Nadu
Among the districts Coimbatore, Teni, Namakkal, Salem and Dharmapuri the cumulative rain ,temperature and rh in the last ten days varying between 4-27 mm ,18-32 C and 74-80% .Crop is in the bulb development stage ,in the absence of rainfall supplemental irrigation
is required for better development.
Andhra Pradesh
Among the districts Srikakulam, Mahbubnagar, Kurnool and Cuddapah the cumulative rain ,temperature and rh in the last ten days varied between 57-142mm, 22-31 C and 81-90% . The weather condition is favourable for the bulb development of the crop.
Rajasthan
Among the districts Alwar, Jhunjhunun, Sikar Jaipur, Ajmer, Nagaur and Jodhpur
the rainfall, temperature and RH received was 39-134mm, 24-33 C and 82-87 % . The continuance of rain, humidity and mild temperature is congenial for the establishment and early growth of the crop

Karnataka
The cumulative rainfall in the major producing districts in the states Karnataka( Haveri(162mm), Chikmanglur and Kodagu),average temperature and RH were 19-27 C and 90-93%. The widespread rainfall and mild temperature is congenial for the berry growth.
Kerala

The continuation of humid and hot conditions are congenial for grand growth stage of the crop.
Haryana
Among the major producing districts Kaithal, Karnal, Jind, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak, Faridabad the rainfall (cumulative) ,temperature and RH were 71-251 mm, 25-32 C and 83-90 %. The weather conditions are favorable for the great grand growth stage of the crop.
Punjab
Among the major producing districts Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur the rainfall (cumulative) ,temperature and RH were 139-163 mm,23-31 C and 89-90 %. The weather conditions are favourable for the growth of the crop. The continuation of rainfall will boost the great grand growth stage the crop.
Bihar
Among the major producing districts West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj the rainfall(cumulative) ,temperature and RH were 24-43 mm,25-33 C and 80-86 %. Due to poor rainfall crop has been affected however,mild rainfall and humidity will help the great grand growth stage of the crop.
