Groundnut
The harvesting of the crop has been started in Gujarat. Favourable weather and sufficient rainfall will help the Groundnut yield in Gujarat that is estimated to rise by 35 per cent this year. The moderate rainfall is prevailing in major parts of south Gujarat. The Groundnut arrivals have started in Gujarat and rainfall may affect the harvesting and post-harvest operations. According to sources “Indian traders are offering soya meal at much lower price than Brazil and Argentina, which is attracting importing nations to inquire for Indian soya meal. “
