Groundnut
The harvesting of the crop has been started in Gujarat. Favourable weather and sufficient rainfall will help the Groundnut yield in Gujarat that is estimated to rise by 35 per cent this year. The moderate rainfall is prevailing in major parts of south Gujarat. The Groundnut arrivals have started in Gujarat and rainfall may affect the harvesting and post-harvest operations. The forecast rainfall in Madhya Pradesh and interior Karnataka will adversely affect the recovery of the crop. Small arrivals have been started in Tamil Nadu.
