Soybean
Forecast rainfall in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh will damage the matured crop that is yet to harvest. The rainfall will disrupt the harvesting operations in the coastal and Madhya Maharashtra regions. But arrivals of the crop are reported from Vidarbha region.

Cotton
The Cotton crop in Maharashtra is at maturity stage. October rains that are predicted here cause some quality concerns by adding unwanted moisture to the crop. However in Orissa the boll development stage is complete and prevailing weather conditions are congenial for the crop.

Sugarcane North
Rainfall likely in the major Sugarcane producing districts of east Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will have no adverse affect on the crop that is in maturity stage. But heavy rain here may be negative for the Sugar recovery. The normal temperature and dry weather will facilitate the harvesting of the crop in Punjab and Haryana.
