Current weather in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, MadhyaPradesh, & Bihar is beneficial for the growth of rabi maize crop. Light rainfall expected in the parts of Tamilnadu in coming days will boost the crop growth.
Post harvest activities of kharif maize has been completed.
According to government sources market arrivals have decreased sharply whereas prices have decreased by 120 Rs/quintal during last two days.
