Turmeric
India
Dry and normal weather in the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka will be beneficial for the matured turmeric crop.
Harvesting of turmeric in the major growing belt of Maharashtra & AndhraPradesh will commence from the mid of this month.

Bangladesh
Harvesting of turmeric crop has been started.

India
Harvesting & post harvest activities of castor crop continues in the states of Gujrat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Dry weather during last month in these areas has encouraged the harvesting & post harvest activities.
Harvesting of Castor crop in the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka has also been started and the current dry weather is favourable for harvesting activities.

Cotton
Harvesting & post harvest activities of cotton crop continues in the north western parts of the country. Almost dry weather during last month facilitated the harvesting & post harvest activities.
Picking has started in Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Gujrat & Maharashtra. Dry conditions and sunshine is useful for boll opening and picking of early sown cotton crop.
Market arrivals have decreased whereas a nominal increase in the prices were noticed during last two days period.
