Arhar
India
Post harvesting activities of early sown Arhar crop are almost complete in the states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Current dry and cold weather in the states of MadhyaPradesh, Maharashtra & southern parts of the country will be beneficial for the long duration arhar crop which is in fruiting to reproductive stages.
Current high humidity, fog and frost conditions is injurious for long duration arhar crop in east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Jharkhand. Light irrigation is required to save the crop against frost damage.
