Wheat
Low temperatures in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, UttarPradesh, is conducive for the wheat crop. However, persisting fog and high humidity is injurious for the crop as it is favourable for foliar diseases.
The early sown wheat crop in the states of MadhyaPradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, is benefited by the current low temperatures in these states.
Market arrivals have decreased by 300 tonnes whereas no significant change in the prices were noticed during last two days.

India
Mild temperatures in the states of MadhyaPradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka is very much benefecial for the chana crop which is in fruiting stages. However, persisting fog and high humidity is injurious for the crop and favourable for pests & diseases in states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, UttarPradesh, & Bihar.
Market arrivals have decreased by 170 tonnes whereas no significant change in the prices were noticed during last two days.

Dry and warm weather in the western part of the country will facilitate harvesting of chana crop.




Urad
India
Post harvest activities of kharif urad is near completion in the central and northern parts of the country.
The current low temperatures in the central and mild temperatures in southern parts of the country is benefecial for the crop which is in fruiting stage.
According to government sources arrivals have increased sharply however no significant change is noticed in the prices during last two days.

India
Normal day time temperatures and low night temperatures in the major growing belt of the crop i.e. in Gujrat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are conducive for the psyllium crop which is in reproductive stage.
It is also beneficial for the late sown psyllium crop which is now in vegetative stages.
