Cotton
Harvesting and post harvest activities of cotton crop in the states of Maharashtra & Gujarat are near completion. Dry weather prevailing in the states of Maharashtra & Gujarat will be conducive for cotton picking and post harvest activities.
Current dry weather in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh is also beneficial for the picking of long duration cotton crop.
According to Cotton Advisory Board cotton exports show a good rise this year.

Maize
India
Current weather in the states of AndhraPradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, MadhyaPradesh & Bihar is beneficial for the flowering of rabi maize crop.
Post harvest activities of kharif maize has been completed.
According to government sources no significant change in arrivals & prices is noticed during last two days.
