Wheat
The current low temperature in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, is conducive for the wheat crop which is in flowering.
The early sown wheat crop in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, is benefited by the current dry weather,sunny days, normal temperatures are conducive for the maturity and harvesting of the crop .
The recent rainfall and the low temperature in states of Assam,West Bengal and eastern states is favourable for wheat crop.
Market arrivals of wheat have increased by 240 tonnes whereas prices have slight decrement in the last two days.

Current rainfall occurs in some parts of the country is beneficial for wheat crop harvesting.
Argentina estimated its 2009/10 corn harvest at 19 million to 21 million tonnes, at least 46 percent larger than the previous year.

India
Current normal weather in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh is beneficial for the flowering and pollination of rabi maize crop.
The current rainfall in the eastern India is beneficial for rabi maize.
Growing biofuels demand spurred by mandatory targets and incentives in some countries "irrespective of market conditions" would boost prices of maize.
Market arrivals of maize have decreased by 817 tonnes whereas prices have decreased by Rs.10/quintal in the last two days.
