Mustard
India
Recent rains, prevailing low temperature is very much conducive for the grain development of the late sown crop in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan .
Harvesting of early sown crop will commence from first week of March.
Dry weather in the states of Madhya Pradesh,Gujarat is conducive for the harvesting and post harvesting activities.
The current rainfall and low temperature will boost the production in Assam, Orrisa,West Bengal and other north east states
Market arrivals of mustard decreased by 940 tonnes whereas market prices got a slight increment.

Onion
The post harvesting activities of onion/kharif crop are near completion in major states as Maharastra and Gujarat.
The current low temperature in the states of Punjab,Haryana,Rajasthan ,Uttar Pradesh ,Bihar, Maharastra, Gujarat is conducive for the rabi crop.
Market arrivals of onion decreased sharply whereas market prices got a slight increment of Rs.17/quintal.
The prices of onion are increasing by the global shortage.

Sugarcane-
Low temperatures and scattered rainfall are conducive for higher sugar recovery in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar and UttarPradesh .
Dry weather and optimum day and night temperatures are favourable for the post harvesting activities in the states of Maharashtra, AndhraPradesh, Tamilnadu and Karnataka.
Sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh (UP), the country’s second-largest sugar producing state, and neighbouring Uttarakhand have decided to reduce the price paid to farmers for sugarcane by nearly 8 per cent (Rs 20/ quintal)

Grape-
Dry weather conditions in southern parts of India is favourable for the crop which is in the cropping stage.
