Mustard
India
Dry weather conditions is very much conducive for the seed development and maturity stage in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan .
Harvesting of early sown crop is continuing on among the above states.
Current temperature and recent rainfall in the states of Orissa and West Bengal and north-east states are also conducive for the mustard crop.
Dry weather in the states of Madhya Pradesh,Gujarat is conducive for the harvesting and post harvesting activities of the crop.
Mustard prices are likely to decline further and may test 465-460 levels in the coming few days.
Market arrivals have decreased sharply whereas the prices have increased upto Rs.3716/quintal in the last two days.

Sugarcane-
Normal temperatures and sunny days are conducive for higher sugar recovery in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar and UttarPradesh .
Dry weather and optimum day and night temperatures are favourable for the post harvesting activities in the states of Maharashtra, AndhraPradesh, Tamilnadu and Karnataka.
The price of sugar in the local markets moved up due to the shortage of the commodity as many sugar mills in the state have started closing due to unavailability of sugarcane.

Barley
India
Current weather condition prevailing in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh ,Punjab, Haryana , Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh are conducive for the barley crop which is in grain development stages.
The harvesting activities have been started in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.
Market arrivals have increased by 70 tonnes whereas the prices have decreased upto Rs.25/quintal in the last two days.

There was damage due to severe frost in the eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and early flowering was badly affected .Recent rainfall facilitated reflowering and seed development.
Market arrivals of arhar decreased by 500 tonnes whereas a decrement of about 100 Rs/quintal in the prices were noticed in the last two days.
