The harvesting activities have started in the states of Madhya Pradesh,Gujarat and Maharastra.
The current dry weather in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, and eastern states is conducive for the harvesting of the crop.
The current normal temperature in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, is conducive for the wheat crop which is in flowering and grain devolopment stage.
Market arrivals of wheat have decreased very sharply whereas prices have got an decrement of Rs.73/quintal in the last two days.
