Wheat
High temperature and sunny days in the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are conducive for post harvesting activities of durum crop.
The harvesting activities have commenced in the states of the North-eastern Plains Zone consisting of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and east India.
Light rainfall occured in eastern India is beneficial for the wheat crop.
The very high temperature excess of 5-7 °C against normal temperature and hot sunny days may affect the crop in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan due to forced maturity.
Wheat prices gained due to thin supply as most of the market yards were closed on account of financial year ending holidays.
Market arrivals of wheat decreased very sharply whereas the prices have got a decreament of Rs 104/quintal in the last two days.

Cardamom-
Harvesting activities are near completion of cardamom crop are continuing in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala .
The post harvesting activities have been started in the state of Karnataka.
Current dry weather in the states of Kerela,Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are beneficial for the cardamom crop.
Flowering activities are commencing in the above states.
