Wheat
The harvesting activities is in progress in the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
The current normal weather in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, and eastern states is conducive for the flowering and grain development stage .
The current mild rains and normal temperature in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, is conducive for the wheat crop which is in flowering and grain devolopment stage.
Market arrivals of wheat have increased very sharply whereas prices have got an increment of Rs.82/quintal in the last two days.
