Mustard
India
Early sown mustard crop in the states of Rajasthan , Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar is in the grain development and at physiological maturity. The late sown crop among the above states are in flowering and fruiting stages. The expected rain in coming days will be conducive for good production.
Late sown crop in the states of Orissa and Assam will be benefitted by the current normal temperature.

Harvesting of mustard continues in the eastern and southern part of the country. Recent rainfall in some parts of the country are conducive for the maturing crop. However it may harm the crop.

Harvesting and post harvest activities continues in parts of west Canada. Light rainfall is also expected in various parts of the country.
Chana

The recent rains received in the states of Punjab is beneficial for the chana crop. The rainfall expected in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh is beneficial for flowering,fruiting and grain development of chana crop .
The current optimum temperatures in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka is beneficial for the chana crop which is in grain development and maturity stages.
Market prices of chana increased upto Rs. 25/quintal in various mandis .

Potato
The expected rains in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar ,Assam will boost the production of late sown crop.
The expected rains facilitate for summer production of potato in the higher hills.
Market arrivals of potato have decreased sharply whereas prices show a decrease of 85Rs./quintal during last two days.
