Current rainfall and low temperature prevailing in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh ,Punjab, Haryana , Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh are conducive for the barley crop which is in grain development stages.
Current dry weather with optimum temperature in the states of Madhya Pradesh,Gujarat, Maharastra is conducive for maturing of the crop.

Market arrivals have decreased sharply whereas the prices have increased upto Rs.50/quintal in the last two days.
