Maize
India
Current weather in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, MadhyaPradesh, & Bihar is beneficial for the growth of rabi maize crop. Light rainfall expected in the parts of Tamilnadu in coming days will boost the crop growth.
Post harvest activities of kharif maize has been completed.
According to government sources market arrivals have decreased sharply whereas prices have decreased by 120 Rs/quintal during last two days.

Heavy rainfall and snowfall in the maize producing states caused damage of the standing crop.

Brazil
Light scattered rainfall along with normal temperatures are conducive for the maize crop.




Wheat
Low temperatures in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, UttarPradesh, is very much conducive for the wheat crop.
The early sown wheat crop in the states of MadhyaPradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, is benefited by the current mild temperatures in these states.
However, regular fog and high humidity is helpful for foliar diseases in eastern states.
Market arrivals have decreased sharply whereas decrease of 135 Rs/quintal in the prices were noticed during last two days.

India
Mustard crop in the major growing belt of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh is in flowering and fruiting stages. Current low temperature will be conducive for proper seed development . However, fog and high humidity is also favourable for aphid and whiterust infections.
Light rainfall received in the states of Orissa and west Bengal are also conducive for the mustard crop which is in flowering and fruiting stage.
