Cardamom
Cardamom is cultivated above 2500-5000 ft msl under good drainage condition .The crop is in flowering which commences from April-May and continued upto July-August. Crop requires 1500-2250 mm well distributed rainfall, cool constantly moist but not water logged condition. Good drainage is required. The optimum temperature for the crop is 10-32 C.

Arhar
Uttar Pradesh
Among the major growing districts Kheri, Bhariach, Barabanki, Balia, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Allahabad, Paratapgarh, Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Jaloan, Aligarh and Bulandshar the cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 42-112mm, 26-33 C and 80-90%. The long duration arhar sowing was done within the onset of monsoon which was delayed. The pure crop vegetative phase will be benefitted from prevailing weather condition.
Arhar is also sown as a mixed crop along with Bajra in the end of July and 1st week of August .Prevailing weather is congenial for establishment and initial growth
