Maize
Andhra Pradesh
Among the maize producing districts Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Krishna, West Godavari, Mahabubnagar, Guntur ,the cumulative rainfall, average temperature and RH for the last ten days were 41-128mm,24-34 C and 78-89 %.The crop is in seed formation stage. The prevailing and forecasted weather conditions are favorable for the crop.
Karnataka
Among the major growing districts Belgaum, Haveri, Bellary, Gadag, Bagalkot, Hassan and Shimoga rainfall(cumulative), prevailing temperature and RH were 91-223mm, 20-30 C and 84-90 %. The crop is in seed formation stage.Prevailing & expected rainfall and mild weather conditions will be favorable for better grain development.
Madhya Pradesh
Among the major growing districts Chindwara, Betul, Rajgarh, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Sidhi, Shivpuri cumulative rainfall, temperature and RH varied between 67-154 mm,24-30 C and 70-95 %.The crop is in flowering,pollination and seed development stages. The mild weather condition will be beneficial for the above crop stages.
Uttar Pradesh
Among the major growing districts Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Etah, Farukhabad, Hardoi, Unnao, Kannauj, Mainpuri, Gonda, Bahraich, Jaunpur .The rainfall received rainfall(cumulative), temperature and RH were 102-223 mm ,26-32 C and 89-93 %. The crop is in flowering and pollination stage. The rainfall and mild temperature and RH will be congenial for the completion of pollination of the crop.
Excess rain water should be drained out from the field particularly from Tarai districts.
Rajasthan
The amount of cumulative rainfall ,temperature and RH were 45-146mm, 24-30 C and 86-91 % among the maize growing districts Chittaurgarh, Udaipur, Banswara, Ajmer, Bundi, Bhilwara, Rajasmand . The sowing was delayed because of the late receipt of monsoon . The crop is in vegetative phase. The prevailing weather is congenial for the growth of the crop.
Bihar
Among the major growing districts Vaishali, Samastipur, Begusarai, Bhalgalpur, Saharsa, Madhepur the rainfall(cumulative), temperature and RH in the last ten days varied from 85-132 mm,26-33 C and 87-88 %.Due to late receipt of monsoon sowing was delayed. The crop is in growth phase . The prevailing and forecasted weather condition will boost the vegetative growth of the crop.

Gujarat
The cumulative last ten days rainfall,temperature varied from 23-94 mm,25-32 C and rh 87-90 % among the major growing districts Banaskantha, Kachchh, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Junagarh, Rajkot, Suredranagar, Ahemdabad, Kheda, Gandhinagar and Vadodara.
Crop is in vegetative phase the weather condition except RH which is higher are beneficial for the crop growth.
Rajasthan
Among the major growing districts ( Hanumamgarh, Jodhpur, Barmer, Pali, Jalor and Sirohi) the cumulative last ten days rainfall received from 13-67 mm ,RH was 86-93 % and the temperature (24-31 C). The humid hot condition and mild rainfall will boost the vegetative growth of the crop.
Tamil Nadu
Among the major growing districts Vellore, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Namakkal and Tiruchchirappalli received rainfall was 73-205 mm,temperature 20-31 C and RH 84-87% in last ten days. The crop have entered in the initiation of flowering stage. The humid and hot condition coupled with good amount of rainfall will be beneficial for the growth and development of the crop.
Karnataka
Among the major growing districts Bellary, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore and Bangalore .The rainfall varied between 48-230 mm,temperature is 20-28 C and RH is 85-92% . The prevailing weather condition is favourable for the initiation of flowering and growth of the crop.

The rainfall received in Karimganj, Medak, Rangareddy, Warangal, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Guntur and Prakasam 41-122 mm,temperature 22-33 C, and RH 80-90%.
