Cotton:

Punjab


The cumulative rain received,temperature and RH varied for the last ten days in the major cotton growing districts Faridkot, Muktsar, Bhatinda, Ferozpur, Mansa is 20-111 mm,25-34 C and 86-88%. The prevailing hot ,humid and limited rainfall is congenial for continuance of flowering pollination and boll development .Fertilizer application will boost the yield.

Maharashtra
The widespread rain among the districts Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Parbhani and Nanded received rainfall,temperature and RH received between 50-100 mm between 21-30 C and 87-90 %. The prevailing and forecasted weather condition of good rainfall will facilitate vegetative growth of the crop.
Excess rain water should be drained out from the cotton plot because it does not tolerate water stagnation.

Gujarat
The widespread rainfall,temperature and RH among the districts Kachchh, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkanta, Gandhinagar, Suredranagar, Ahmednagar, Vadodara, Narmada, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Junagarh, Amreli, Rajkot and Jamnagar is 20-145mm,24-32 C and 85-90 %. The prevailing hot and humid condition and forecasted rainfall will be congenial for the vegetative growth of the crop.
Excess rain water should not stagnate in the field and it should be drained out.


Andhra Pradesh
Among the districts Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Guntur, Nalgonda and Warangal from July-August in black and red soil. The cumulative rainfall,temperature and RH varied between 68-198 mm, 24-32 C and 78-90 % . The prevailing weather condition and forecasted rain will boost the vegetative growth of the crop.
Rain water should not stagnate in the field. Proper drainage is required for good airation for cotton crop.

Mung :


Andhra Pradesh:. In the mung growing districts Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, EastGodavari, Krishna, Srikakulam the cumulative rainfall and temperature in the last ten days varied between 68-161mm and 25-32 C and RH 83-89 %. The crop is in flowering and podding.The continuance of rain and forecasted heavy rain may affect the crop.
Rain water should be drained out invariably from the mung plots.

Maharashtra:
In the major mung growing districts (Dhule, Jalgaon, Amravati, Akola, Washim, Buldhana, Aurangabad, Jalna, Nanded and Beed) the temperature and rainfall and RH in the last ten days varied between 22-30 C and 50-132mm and 87-94%. The rain received and forecasted rain may hamper the crop flowering and fruiting . Therefore excess rain water should be drained out from the mung fields.

Karnataka: The major growing districts Gulbarga, Bijapur, Belgaum, Dharwad and Haveri received cumulative rainfall and temperature and RH varied between 111-166 mm and 22-31 C and 83-90%.
The continuance of rainfall and forecasted rainfall may interfere the flowering ,fruiting of the crop due to flower drops.
Excess rain water should be drained out from the mung plots as mung crops is very much susceptible for water stagnation.

Rajasthan: The major growing districts Jhunjhunun, Churu, Nagaur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalor, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Tonka and Jaipur ,the cumulative rain received 18-196 mm and temperature from 24-34 C and 82-92%. The rainfall coupled with humid hot condition will boost the vegetative growth of the crop.

Gujarat
In the districts Banaskantha, Mahesana, Rajkot cumulative rain received in the last ten days(31-46mm) and temperature 24-32 C. The continuance of humid,hot condition and mild rains will facilitate the vegetative growth and initiation of flowering .

Uttar Pradesh
Among the districts Pratapgarh, Etawah, Mohoba received rainfall ,temperature and RH for the last ten days were 82-94mm,25-32 C and 89-92 %. The weather condition is congenial for the growth of the crop.

Bihar
Among the districts Madhubani, Saharsa, Madhepur, Muzaffarpur, Purnia received rainfall ,temperature and RH 57-169 mm,26-33 C and 87-90 % . The prevailing weather condition is good for vegetative growth of the crop.

Groundnut:


Gujarat
Among the districts Surat, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Surendranagar, Sabarkantha tcumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is ranging between 19-140mm, 24-31 C and 86-90% . The prevailing weather condition is favourable for the growth and flowering of late sown crop and for flowering and peg development of early sown crop.

Rajasthan

The cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days varied between 18-192 mm , 25-34 C and 77-91 % among the districts Sikar, Tonk, Jodhpur and Bikaner.
The continuance of humid hot condition and rainfall will boost the vegetative growth and initiation and flowering of the crop.

Karnataka
In the major growing districts Bijapur, Belgaum, Gadag, Bellary, Kolar, Chitradurga and Tumkur cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days varied between 79-214 mm, 22-29 C and 88-95% . The prevailing weather condition is favorable for continuance of flowering, peg development and nut formation.
The major groundnut growing districts of Tamil Nadu (Vellore, Erode and Namakkal) received rainfall received from 33-86 mm ,temperature varied between 20-30 C and RH 82-87 % .
The weather condition is favorable for continuance of flowering,pegging and nut development.

The continuance of mild weather and rainfall in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab will facilitate the vegetative growth and initiation of flowering of the crop.
