The prevailing temperature rainfall, humidity and forecasted rainfall will facilitate flowering pollination and pod development in timely sown crop. Even the late sown crop will get advantage of good weather for completion of vegetative growth and initiation of flowering.
Maharashtra:
In the soybean growing districts Wardha, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Nanded, Yavatmal, Amravati, Sangli, Satara, Latur, Osmanabad, Kolhapur, Beed, Jalna, Parbhani, Nashik, Ahmadnagar, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Hingoli and Akola the temperature,RH and cumulative rainfall is ranging between 21-31 C, 85-90 % and 41-129 mm . Temperature ,rainfall and humidty and forecasted weather conditions providing optimal condition for the growth of late sown crop and initiation of flowering .In the timely sown crop flowering ,pollination and seed development is facilitated by the favorable weather condition.
Rajasthan:
The major soybean producing districts Pali, Rajasmand, Baran, Kota, Chittaurgarh, Jhalawar, Barmer and Udaipur the rainfall(cumulative) ,temperature and RH ranges 10-189mm ,24-31 C and 82-88 %. The humid hot condition and good amount of rainfall received will boost the vegetative growth of the crop.
Gujarat
The major guar producing districts Patan, Sabarkantha , Mahesena , Banaskantha and Kachchh received fair amount of rainfall from 25-57mm, temperature 21-32 C and RH 87-90 %. The mild rainfall and humid hot condition are congenial for the vegetative growth of the crop.

Cardamom
Cardamom is cultivated above 2500-5000 ft msl under good drainage condition .The crop is in flowering which commences from April-May and continued upto July-August. Crop requires 1500-2250 mm well distributed rainfall, cool constantly moist but not water logged condition. Good drainage is required. The optimum temperature for the crop is 10-32 C.
Against the above requirement statewise details are given as under:
Kerala
Among the major districts of Kerala(Kasorgod, Palakkad ,Wayanad ,Iddukki and Pathanamthitta) the rainfall and temperature varied between 54-77 mm and 19-29 C and 90-91 %. The late receipt of monsoon adversely affected the early flowering and fruit development . However, rainfall in June-July facilitated the development of fruit and continuance of flowering. The weather factors are optimum except the min temperature which is at higher side, for continuance of flowering and formation of fruits.
Karnataka
The major producing districts Shimoga, Chikmanglore, Hassan and Kodagu received rainfall and temperature which varied between 158-213 mm and 19-25 C and 91-92%.
The prevailing weather condition except the minimum temperature (which is at higher side) are congenial for continuance of flowering and fruit development .
Tamil Nadu
Among the major growing districts of Tamil Nadu ( Coimbatore ,Nilgiris and Teni) the cumulative rainfall, temperature and RH varied between 32-56 mm,18-26 C and 86-88 % .
The weather condition (except the minimum temperature) will be helpful for continuance of flowering and fruit development.
