Maize
Andhra Pradesh
Among the maize producing districts Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Krishna, West Godavari, Mahabubnagar, Guntur ,the rainfall(cumulative), average temperature and RH in the last ten days was 48-179mm, 24-34 C and 78-89 % respectively. The continued weather condition is favourable for flowering,seed formation and development.
Karnataka
Among the major districts Belgaum, Haveri, Bellary, Gadag, Bagalkot, Hassan and Shimoga the rainfall, temperature and RH varied from 51-316mm,19-30 C and 86-91 % in the last ten days. The weather condition is favourable for the flowering and seed development. Utmost care is required to drain out excess rain water from the field because during flowering and seed development maize crop is very much susceptible against water stagnation.
Madhya Pradesh
Among the major districts Chindwara, Betul, Rajgarh, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Sidhi, Shivpuri the rainfall, temperature and RH varied in the last ten days 68-110mm, 24-30 C and 80-93 %. The weather condition is optimum for flowering and pollination.
Uttar Pradesh
Among the major districts Bulandshar, Aligarh, Etah, Farukhabad, Hardoi, Unnao, Kannuj, Mainpuri, Gonda, Bahrich, Jaunpur the rainfall, temperature and RH varied in the last ten days 16-77 mm, 26-33 C and 80-86 %. The sowing was delayed due to late receipt of rain . The crop is in growth phase ,supplemental irrigation is required where rainfall is less, as crop requires good amount of moisture for vegetative growth.
Rajasthan
The amount of rainfall received among the maize growing districts Chittaurgarh, Udaipur, Banswara, Ajmer, Bundi, Bhilwara, Rajasmand the rainfall(cumulative), average temperature and RH in the last ten days 53-158 mm,25-32 C and 86-89 % where 158mm received in Udaipur . Mild temperature, good amount of rainfall and high Rh is beneficial for the crop growth and may boost up the production.
Bihar
Among the districts Vaishali, Samastipur, Begusarai, Bhalgalpur, Saharsa, Madhepur the cumulative rainfall,temperature and RH in the last ten days varied from 34-46mm, 27-35 C and 75-80 %. Sowing was delayed due to late arrival and poor monsoon ,supplemental irrigation is required to raise the crop. High temperature also adversely affect the growth of late sown crop.

Basmati Rice
Haryana
Among the districts Sirsa, Kaithal, Kurekshetra, Ambala, Karnal, Sonipat and Panipat the cumulative rainfall,temperature and RH in the last ten days varied from 35-62 mm ,25-34 C and 84-85 %. The optimum temperature ,RH and rainfall is congenial for uniform growth of tillers, supplemental irrigation is required as crop requirement of water is beyond field capacity.
Punjab
Among the districts Amritsar, Rupnagar, Patiala the, cumulative rainfall, temperature and RH in the last ten days 72-129 mm,25-32 C and 85-90 %. The mild rainfall and receding temperature is favourable for vegetative growth of the crop.

Onion
Kharif onion crop requires 10-11 hr. sunshine and 15-21 C for vegetative growth.
Maharastra
Among the districts(Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune and Satara) at present , the cumulative rainfall, temperature and rh is varying between 50-80 mm ,21-30 C and 87-89 %. The transplanting is undertaken (July -August) . The weather conditions are favourable for the growth except temperature which is slightly higher and may affect the establishment of fresh transplanted crops and early growth of the early transplanted crop.
Gujarat
Among the districts Ghandhinagar, Narmada, Bhavnagar, Junagarh, Rajkot and Jamnagar the rainfall,temperature and RH received was 59-258 mm ,86-90 % and 25-31 C. The rainfall will help in the transplanting and establishment of the seedling ,higher temperature is not favourable for the crop.
Karnataka
Among the districts (Dharwar, Bagalkot, Bijapur and Kolar) the cumulative rain ,temperature and rh is varying between 35-63 mm ,22-29 C and 80-88% . The transplanting is over weather is favourable for the establishment and growth.
Tamil Nadu
Among the districts Coimbatore, Teni, Namakkal, Salem and Dharmapuri the cumulative rain ,temperature and rh in the last ten days varying between 19-73 mm ,18-35 C and 75-80% . The crop is in vegetative phase and required supplemental irrigation for better growth. However high temperature may affect the crop growth.
Andhra Pradesh
Among the districts Srikakulam, Mahbubnagar, Kurnool and Cuddapah the cumulative rain ,temperature and rh in the last ten days varied between 57-103mm, 24-31 C and 75-80% . The weather condition is favourable for the vegetative growth of the crop. Wherever rain is less, supplemental irrigation is required.
Rajasthan
Among the districts Alwar, Jhunjhunun, Sikar Jaipur, Ajmer, Nagaur and Jodhpur
the rainfall, temperature and RH received was 41-65mm, 26-33 C and 82-84 % . The weather condition are favourable for the transplanting and its establishment.
