Arhar
Uttar Pradesh
Among the major growing districts Kheri, Bhariach, Barabanki, Balia, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Allahabad, Paratapgarh, Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Jaloan, Aligarh and Bulandshar the cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 55-146 mm, 25-32 C and 90-93%. The long duration arhar sowing was done in the month of July and also sown as a mixed crop along with Bajra in the end of July and 1st week of August . The prevailing weather conditions are favorable for the vegetative growth of the crop.
The early sown crop in the western Uttar Pradesh is almost in the completion of vegetative phase. The weather condition is also very much helpful for the growth of the crop.
Maharashtra
Among the districts Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati, Akola, Washim, Jalna, Jalgaon, Beed, Osmanabad, Nanded and Parbhani received cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 21-106mm, 23-31 C and 88-94%. The continuance of favorable weather will boost the growth of the Arhar crop.
Karnataka
The major districts received cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 21-222 mm, 21-32 C and 77-90% among the districts Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary, Bijapur, Belgaum, Dharwad, Devngere, Chitradurga, Tumkur and Kolar is favourable for the vegetative growth of the crop. In black cotton soil water stagnation may damage the crop . Therefore excess rain water should be drained out.
Madhya Pradesh
The cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 64-235 mm, 19-30 C and 86-90% in the districts (Sidhi, Jabalpur, Chindwara, Betul and Narsimhpur ) .The prevailing and forecasted weather condition is favorable for the growth of the crop.
Gujarat
The cumulative rainfall,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 54-166 mm, 23-30 C and 87-90% in the districts Dahod, Narmada, Surat, Vadodara and Bharuch .The rain received and continued hot and humid weather condition prevailing will be helpful for the vegetative growth of the crop.

Tamil Nadu
In the major producing states Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Dhamapuri, Villupparam and Vellore the rainfall cumulative ,temperature and RH were 60-153 mm,19-30 C and 83-87 %. The temperature ,rainfall and humidity is optimum for the early growth of the crop. The forecasted rainfall will also boost the crop growth.
Andhra Pradesh
In the major producing states Kurnool, Guntur, East Godavari, West Godavari, Warangal, Krishna, Rangareddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar and Chuddapah the rainfall cumulative ,temperature and RH were 56-168 mm,23-32 C and 76-88%. The prevailing and forecasted weather conditions are optimum for the vegetative growth of the crop.
Karnataka
In the major producing states Belgaun, Bagalkot, Mysore and Chamrajnagar the rainfall cumulative ,temperature and RH were 80-86mm, 18-28 C and 87-90 % in the last ten days. The forecasted rainfall will be helpful for the growth of the crop.
Maharashtra
In the major producing states Sangli and Satara the rainfall cumulative,temperature and RH were 31-73mm,21-29 C and 90-91%. The condition are favorable for the early growth of the crop.
Orissa
In the major producing states Koratpur, Kalahandi, Pulbani, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Kendujhargarh and Balasore the rainfall cumulative,temperature and RH were 10-76mm,23-33 C and 81-87 %. The supplemental irrigation is required for better crop growth,where rainfall is poor.

Sugarcane North
In Northern India sugarcane is planted in autumn(September-October) in other states , (October-November) in Bihar and Orissa ,the spring planting is done in February -March and also late planting is done upto March-April after the harvesting of wheat and other crops .Statewise details are as under:

The prevailing humid hot condition and good amount of rainfall is congenial for the great grand growth stage. As per weather forecast the production will boost up .
Haryana
Among the major producing districts Kaithal, Karnal, Jind, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak, Faridabad the rainfall (cumulative) ,temperature and RH were 176-260 mm, 24-31 C and 90-93 %. The humid hot condition and god rainfall is congenial for the grand growth stage of the crop.
Punjab
Among the major producing districts Gurdaspur,Hoshiarpur the rainfall (cumulative) ,temperature and RH were 181-219 m,23-31 C and 90-93 %. The weather conditions are favourable for the growth of the crop.
Bihar
Among the major producing districts West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj the rainfall( cumulative) ,temperature and RH were 134-172 mm,25-32 C and 88-89 %. The late receipt of monsoon although affected the crop growth. However, the present weather conditions are favourable for the growth and development of the crop.
