Castor:

Gujarat


The cumulative last ten days rainfall varied from 138-361 mm and rh 90-92% among the major growing districts Banaskantha, Kachchh, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Junagarh, Rajkot, Suredranagar, Ahemdabad, Kheda, Gandhinagar and Vadodara.
Rain is also forecasted in the upcoming fortnight. The crop is in early growth phase and it requires low rh and high temperature and sunshine for proper growth. Excess rainwater should be drained out.

Rajasthan
Among the major growing districts ( Hanumamgarh, Jodhpur, Barmer, Pali, Jalor and Sirohi) the cumulative last ten days rainfall received from 37-185 mm except Sirohi where rainfall was 365mm ,rh is 80-90 % and the temperature (23-33 C). The prevailing weather condition is favourable for the vegetative growth of the crop. Excess rain water should not stagnate in the field.

Tamil Nadu
Among the major growing districts Vellore, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Namakkal and Tiruchchirappalli received rainfall 8-19 mm,temperature 20-33 C and rh 70-75% in last ten days. The continuing relative humidity and temperature is congenial for the growth and development of the crop. However, supplemental irrigation will be required for better growth of the crop.

Karnataka
Among the major growing districts Bellary, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore and Bangalore .The rainfall varied between 7-150 mm,temperature is 10-31 C and rh is 85-92% . The prevailing weather condition is favourable for the development of the crop.

Andhra Pradesh
The rainfall received in Karimganj, Medak, Rangareddy, Warangal, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Guntur and Prakasam 20-53 mm,temperature 22-32 C, and rh 75-80% .
The prevailing weather condition and forecasted rain will benefit the development of the crop.


Maharashtra
Among the major growing districts Nashik, Aurangabad, Beed, Nanded, Amravati and Wardha the rainfall for the last ten days is 72-222mm ,temperature 21-30 C and rh 80-90 %. The prevailing weather condition is favorable for growth and development of the crop.

Orissa
Among the major growing districts Valangir, Angul, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Gajpati, Pulbani, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Koratput and Navrangapur the widespread rainfall received and rainfall is also forecasted. The prevailing weather condition is congenial for the growth and development of the crop. Excess rainwater should be drained out from the plot for better growth and development.

Mung :

Andhra Pradesh:. In the mung growing districts Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, EastGodavari, Krishna, Srikakulam, the The cumulative rainfall and temperature in the last ten days varied between 29-204mm and 24-31 C. The weather condition is conducive for the pollination and pod development.

Maharashtra: In the major mung growing districts (Dhule, Jalgaon,Amravati, Akola, Washim, Buldhana, Aurangabad, Jalna, Nanded and Beed) the temperature and rainfall in the last ten days varied between 22-28 C and 71-146mm. The weather condition are favorable for initiation of flowering.


Karnataka:The major growing districts Gulbarga, Bijapur, Belgaum, Dharwad and Haveri received cumulative rainfall and temperature varied between 18-187 mm and 21-31 C.
The weather condition is conducive for flowering and pod development.

Rajasthan: The major growing districts Jhunjhunun, Churu, Nagaur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalor, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Tonka and Jaipur ,the cumulative rain received 49-185 mm and temperature from 25-34 C. The weather condition is conducive for the growth and development of the crop. Excess rain water should not stagnate in the field.

Gujarat:In the districts Banaskantha, Mahesana, Rajkot cumulative rain received in the last ten days(138-345mm) and temperature 24-30 C. Crop is in growth stage excess rain water should be drained out from the field.

Among the states Uttar Pradesh(Pratapgarh,Etawah,Mohoba) received rainfall 34-52m and Bihar(Madhubani, Saharsa, Madhepur, Muzaffarpur, Purnia) received 17-37 mm . the prevailing weather condition is good for vegetative growth of the crop. Supplemental irrigation is required in the absence of rainfall.
