Kharif Onion

Guar

Normal growth and development of plant require 27-350C. It can tolerate both shade and frost, it is photosensitive and flowering occurs when it is shown in kharif season. The crop performs well where the rainfall ranges 250-500 mm under sandy soil .It is a kharif season crop. Powdery mildew:- Dusting of sulphur @ 15 kg/ha or 0.1% Karathane.

Soybean

Madhya Pradesh:
Among the soybean growing districts Shivpuri, Guna, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Ujjain, Indore, Dewas, Shajapur, Harda, Khandwa, Seoni, Chindwara, Balaghat, Hosangabad, Sehore and Raisen, the rainfall(cumulative) ,temperature and RH varied 40-175mm, 22-31 C and 71-91 % in the last ten days. The prevailing temperature rainfall,humidity and forecasted rainfall will facilitate flowering pollination and pod development in timely sown crop. Rajasthan

The major growing districts Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu , Bikaner , Jaipur, Sikar , Jhunjhunu , Jaiselmer, Barmer, Jodhpur and Dausa received cumulative rainfall in the last ten days 50-169mm(except in Bikaner where rainfall was 9mm) ,mild temperature and RH were 25-35 C and 82-92 %. Gujarat

Haryana

Cardamom

Cardamom is cultivated above 2500-5000 ft msl under good drainage condition .The crop is in flowering which commences from April-May and continued upto July-August. Crop requires 1500-2250 mm well distributed rainfall, cool constantly moist but not water logged condition. Good drainage is required. The optimum temperature for the crop is 10-32 C.

Karnataka

Tamil Nadu

Arhar

Uttar Pradesh

Among the major growing districts Kheri, Bhariach, Barabanki, Balia, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Allahabad, Paratapgarh, Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Jaloan, Aligarh and Bulandshar the cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 55-146 mm, 25-32 C and 90-93%. The long duration arhar sowing was done in the month of July and also sown as a mixed crop along with Bajra in the end of July and 1st week of August . The prevailing weather conditions are favorable for the vegetative growth of the crop.
The early sown crop in the western Uttar Pradesh is almost in the completion of vegetative phase. The weather condition is also very much helpful for the growth of the crop.

Maharashtra

The major districts received cumulative rainfall ,average temperature and RH in the last ten days is 21-222 mm, 21-32 C and 77-90% among the districts Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary, Bijapur, Belgaum, Dharwad, Devngere, Chitradurga, Tumkur and Kolar is favourable for the vegetative growth of the crop. In black cotton soil water stagnation may damage the crop . Therefore excess rain water should be drained out.
