Cardamom
Weather outlook also remains favourable for cardamom which is in maturity stage. Light to moderate rain is expected over Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The weather is favourable for the development of fruit from the late flowers in Karnataka. Mild temperature and current relative humidity levels are beneficial for flowering and fruit development in Tamilnadu. Light rain expects in North Kerala .Plucking of ripe cardamom is in full swing in most parts of Idukki district of Kerala.

Coffee
Heavy rains received during post blossom season have affected the flowering and seed setting,light to moderate rain received recently over parts of Karnataka and Kerala remains beneficial for the coffee crop. The prevalent weather in North Kerala is likely to affect adversely in the leaf-formation under the cooler temperatures for lack of sunshine due to rainfall forecast in the coming days but will benefit the crop which is at other stages.

Cashew
The optimum soil moisture conditions provided by the rainfall in Karnataka region will be helpful for the crop . Good monsoon showers received in the parts of Konkan and Kerala coast will benefit the cashew crop, however, with heavy rainfall in the some parts of Kerala region, cashew plantations were damaged.
