Coffee

Heavy rains received during post blossom season have affected the flowering and seed setting,light to moderate rain received recently over parts of Karnataka and Kerala remains beneficial for the coffee crop. The prevalent weather in North Kerala is likely to affect adversely in the leaf-formation under the cooler temperatures for lack of sunshine due to rainfall forecast in the coming days but will benefit the crop which is at other stages.

Cashew

The optimum soil moisture conditions provided by the rainfall in Karnataka region will be helpful for the crop .
