Mustard
The mustard crop requires More than 70% RH and 12-25 C temperature with intermittent winter rains. The light to moderate rainfall forecast over South and East Rajasthan will facilitate the germination of the mustard crop. Current temperature and humidity in North-West Uttar Pradesh and Haryana will be beneficial to the late sown crop.

Sugarcane South
The continous rainfall over coastal and west Karnataka will halt the sugarcane harvest for seven-eight days until the water recedes from fields. Crushing of sugarcane in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh is likely to slow down on reduced supply to mills because of the recent heavy showers in some parts of the growing regions. The recent heavy rain has hit sugarcane harvesting in many areas, leading to tight supply.

Jeera
For jeera sowing, days should be bright and sunny while nights should be cool. Unseasonal rains in the key cultivating regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan and cloudy weather have delayed jeera sowing in India by a fortnight. Sowing has started in few pockets but it will gain pace only after next week because the current temperature is not suitable for sowing.
