Mustard

Mustard sowing is almost complete in North India. The current dry weather persist in Rajasthan, Gujarat and parts of Bihar is favourable for the early sown crop that is in tillering phase is. Thinning operations are being carried out in most of the regions. Light rainfall forecast in some parts of West and central Uttar Pradesh , Delhi and Haryana will provide adequate moisture in soil and fall in temperature, which is conducive for mustard crop.

Grape

Grape crop requires dry and warm weather for development. The cool nights (15-18o C) and warm days (28-32oC) is essential for successful grape production. The current weather prevailing in Sangli, Nashik and Pune in Maharashtra region is congenial for the crop which in flowering stage . The moderate rainfall forecast in Banglore region will harm the crop.

Jeera


Jeera sowing requires bright and sunny days while nights should be cool. Recent rains in the key cultivating regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan have delayed jeera sowing. However sowing has been started in some parts of Rajasthan.
